1:1 Coaching

Coaching for professionals under pressure

You're capable. But there's a version of you that handles pressure without becoming reactive and makes decisions with more clarity. The gap between where you are and where you have the potential to be is almost always smaller than it feels once you understand the patterns keeping you back.

What we work on together

Day 0

Diagnostic baseline

50 factors measured

90 Days

Targeted coaching

Built from your data

Day 90

Before and after report

Proof the number moved

Most high performers have developed extraordinary external skills. What rarely gets developed is the internal architecture that determines how you show up under pressure. We work on emotional regulation in the moment, reading yourself and others with precision, cognitive rewiring and moving from reactive to calmly responsive. This is the kind of work that changes how you experience yourself, and, by extension, how you experience life.

How it works

Built from your data

Every engagement begins with a validated 50-factor assessment that maps your physical, emotional, cognitive and social landscape. We work from a precise picture that depicts the highest-leverage changes.

We meet regularly — in person in Auckland or online — for focused sessions that combine the rigour of evidence-based coaching with a quality of attention that shows you how to be capable of more in a way that works for you.

At the end of our time together, we re-assess. You'll have a clear before-and-after picture across every factor. More than a feeling — proof.

Who will be coaching you

Lauren Hansen

I grew up as a resilience experiment. I studied biology, practised as a corporate lawyer in M&A at MinterEllisonRuddWatts, then co-founded a tech startup in London. I know what it feels like to operate under sustained pressure where the stakes are real and the margin for error is small.

I trained directly under Dr Sven Hansen — my father and the founder of the Resilience Institute — and I combine his 25 years of research with relentless belief in what is possible for the person sitting across from me.

My approach is warm, direct, and grounded in evidence. I will help you see what you're bringing to your life currently, and how to work with it skilfully in a way that keeps you calm, focussed and energised.

This is for you if

You're performing at a high level but something feels off. You're operating below your inner capacity, or from a place of effort rather than ease.

You want to understand yourself more precisely — not just feel better, but to know why you react the way you do, and have the tools to adjust it.

You're ready to do real work because you take your own growth seriously.

This is not for you if

You're looking for someone to validate the story you're telling yourself.

You want quick fixes or surface-level accountability.

You're not curious about what's underneath.

Investment

Scoped to your situation.

The length, depth and pace is scoped to your situation. Pricing is discussed directly. If something here has landed for you, I'd love to hear from you.

A note on the methodology

The assessment and framework we use were developed by Dr Sven Hansen — medical doctor, former special forces officer, and founder of the Resilience Institute — over 25 years of research and more than 100,000 assessments globally. Lauren trained directly under him, and she brings that depth of evidence-based knowledge into every session. But she also bring something that can't be taught: a genuine belief in what's possible for the person sitting across from her.
